As this company is dynamic, it is still growing and therefore a need has arisen to employ a Mechanical Engineer based at the Brisbane head office. The duties will be as follows:

Liaise with customers, suppliers and relevant staff on technical matters.

Provide technical reports identifying findings, conclusions and posing recommendations for any investigations or analyses.

Undertake technical risk assessments, following procedures.

Undertake design of Mechanical systems, components, jigs, fixtures, special tools, plant equipment.

Review technical documentation including drawings, designs and design changes.
-
Produce engineering specifications and documentation when required.

Assist Engineering Manager in management of engineering tasks, resources and budget.
As the successful candidate, you must possess the following:
-
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
-
Knowledge, skills and experience in mechanical engineering design and drafting

Experience in report writing, including any other engineering documentation
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical staff to complete projects

Experience with AutoCAD Inventor 3D with heavy engineering experience.
